Grange Wintringham's employment team acts as an external Human Resources adviser to numerous corporate clients, offering effective, pragmatic and immediate advice on all employment law issues. We can draft and review all necessary contracts, policies, handbooks, bonus schemes and appraisal systems for our clients, ensuring they are tailored to meet the needs of the business and to comply with rapidly changing legislation.
In terms of corporate support, we have extensive experience in corporate restructuring including major TUPE transfers and redundancy processes, involving complex negotiations and consultation with trades unions. We can also advise in relation to directors' remuneration, incentive and termination packages, offering pragmatic and commercially focused advice.
Our team regularly appear in the employment tribunals on behalf of employer clients and our experienced advocates have handled major discrimination and equal pay claims in addition to unfair dismissal and redundancy cases over many years.
The team is headed by Jane Eatock, who has over 15 years' experience as a specialist employment lawyer. In addition to many local and national commercial clients, Jane has excellent public sector knowledge, having acted for health authorities and educational institutions, and she currently advises a local authority on all aspects of employment law conducting the majority of their tribunal claims over the last 5 years.
