Probate, Wills and Tax Planning

Our probate, wills and tax planning team are able to give specialist advice in relation to legal and tax services. We believe in helping our clients to plan for the future to look at ways to build their finances and to preserve those finances for the benefit of themselves, their families and other beneficiaries.

It is now known that over a quarter of the population's over fifty-five year olds haven't yet made a Will. Grange Wintringham offers help with planning and making your Will at an early stage, which can help you to decide exactly how your property and possessions will be divided and to whom, decide who you would like to wind up your affairs in the event of your death and put in place steps to save tax.

We offer advice relating to Wills and living wills, tax savings, Inheritance Tax planning, obtaining probate and letters of administration, administration of estates, assistance with income tax queries (including dealing with annual tax returns), the creation and administration of trusts, Enduring Powers of Attorney and applications to the Court of Protection (where there are mental incapacity issues). At Grange Wintringham, our partners are also able to stand as attorneys for the elderly and infirm and deal with that person's financial concerns and financial administration if necessary.

In order that our clients get the maximum return from their financial planning, we work closely with other professionals in the field to make sure our clients' personal tax affairs are up-to-date, that their assets are invested well and that plans are in place to maximise the numerous tax exemptions and reliefs available.
